Who WE are

Faith Covenant is a group of Christian believers who come together to worship God, experience community, and serve people with Christ’s love.

We believe that we are in this world to make it a better place.

So what does that look like on a daily basis?

  • We worship God with songs, prayers, and teaching.
  • We gather together to study God’s Word.
  • We share meals together.
  • We pray for each other, our community, our world.
  • We serve our community, near and far, in a variety of ways.
  • We raise money and awareness to fight poverty and oppression.

What is a covenant church?

Faith Covenant is a part of the Evangelical Covenant denomination. This means we share common beliefs and can do bigger things as part of a larger organization. Our pastors receive support and training, and we can be part of missions and relief efforts all over the world.

The Evangelical Covenant Church seeks to form and nurture communities that are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and passionately engaged in Christ’s mission in the world.

For Covenant people, our essential beliefs are summed up in what we call Covenant Affirmations:

  • The centrality of the word of God
  • The necessity of the new birth
  • A commitment to the whole mission of the church
  • The church as a fellowship of believers
  • A conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit
  • The reality of freedom in Christ

What makes a Covenant church different from other churches?

  • An emphasis on missions and social justice
  • A desire to reflect the multicultural nature of Christ’s kingdom and the full participation of women at all levels of ministry
  • The freedom to have differences of opinion about doctrinal beliefs
  • A focus on studying the Bible as the source of our beliefs

Our PASTOR

Pastor Naas Tredoux grew up in South Africa and has been blessed to live in many parts of the world. Before moving to Colorado Springs in 2011, he ministered in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has also pastored congregations in Kansas, Boston and Bucharest, Romania. Naas earned his Bachelors of Psychology and Biblical Studies degrees from the University of Johannesburg and received his Masters of Divinity degree from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Twenty years ago, he fell in love and married his Texas sweetheart, Heather. Together they have three children: Camille, Cameron, and their youngest son, Caelin. Some of Naas’ greatest passions as a pastor include preaching God’s word, building churches where people truly care for one another, and inspiring members to become involved in the life of the community. OUR Worship Leader

Jeff Boesel has been involved in leading through worship music for many years. He would describe this ministry as the use of music and text to bring people to a renewed awareness of the presence of God in their midst and to allow them to engage with him intimately. Jeff, also serving as a missionary with OC International, is married to Deanne and they have four adult children.
